Terms of use

The policy

1. What Host My Bike is

Host My Bike connects people with spare bicycle parking space to cyclists looking for a safe place to park. We provide the platform; agreements about the actual parking spot are between members.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your login details secure. You're responsible for activity under your account. By creating an account you confirm you have read and accept this policy and our Privacy policy.

3. Community rules

All members must follow our Community rules. We may suspend or remove accounts that break them.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post (photos, bio, listing details, messages) but grant us the right to display it on the platform for the purpose of running the service.

5. Your data

See our Privacy policy for how we collect, use, and protect your data, and how to access, export, or delete it.

6. Liability

Host My Bike is a platform connecting members; we don't own, manage, or inspect the parking spots listed, and we're not a party to any arrangement made between a host and a guest. Host My Bike is not responsible for damage, loss, or theft of a bicycle or any other property while it is parked at a member's spot, nor for any dispute, injury, or other issue arising from a booking or interaction between members. Members use the platform and arrange parking at their own risk and discretion.

If you run into a problem with a host or guest — for example a dispute, damage, theft, or any other issue — contact your local authorities directly if the matter is urgent or may be criminal (such as theft or a safety concern). Please also let us know or use the Report feature, so we can look into the account involved and take action on the platform where appropriate.

Should law enforcement require information related to an incident, Host My Bike will provide relevant chat logs, user details, and host details upon official request.

7. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; material changes will be highlighted and may require re-acceptance.
